Preschool Programs

All Preschool Programs begin at 10:30am. No registration required except where noted.

Story Time Yoga (ages 2 to 7)

Zumbini with Miss Joanne (ages birth to 4)

Created by Zumba® and BabyFirst for young children, the Zumbini® program combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of can’t-stop, won’t-stop bonding, learning, and fun!

Mr Brad’s Music (ages birth to 5)

Join us for a fun, high energy music program.

Animal Explorers Workshop (ages 3 to 6)
Friday, June 21 at 10:30 AM
This fun workshop will introduce little explorers to the art of observation using their five senses. They will then use some of their senses to meet and interact with two animal friends. An art activity is included. Presented by Tarpon Springs Aquarium and Paige’s Planet. Registration is required. Registration begins June 3.

Wee Sing (ages 1 and up)

A music program incorporating instruments, sign language, Spanish, colors, numbers, letters and more.

“Out of This World” Story Time (ages 3 to 5)
Friday, June 28 at 10:30 AM
Children will participate in an interactive story time with related movement and art activities. Presented by Great Explorations Children’s Museum. Registration is required. Registration begins June 3.

Mikey & Jo Kid Show (ages 1 to 5)
Tuesday, July 16 at 10:30 AM
Music, movement and fun with Mr Mikey and Miss Jo. Join us for original songs, popular favorites and lots of dancing and singing.


Educational Programs

Educational Programs are for children ages 6 to 12. Registration is required. Registration begins on the Monday of the week of the program, in person or by phone (727) 943-4922 ext 6016.

Great Un-stress-ploration
Wednesday, June 12 at 3 to 4 PM
We will use art, rhythm, and movement to help with processing big emotions and daily stressors. Presented by Great Explorations Children’s Museum.

Painting Class
Wednesday, June 19 at 3 to 4 PM
Class presented by Color Express. All materials supplied.

Critter Detectives
Wednesday, June 26 at 3 to 4 PM
Learn how to identify animals from examining their scat and tracks. Presented by Boyd Hill Nature Preserve.

Space Travel
Wednesday, July 17 at 3 to 4 PM
Learn what it takes to be a true globetrotter! Race a balloon rocket and design your own engine as you learn about thrust. Includes a craft. Presented by Mad Science.

Summer Reading Kick-Off Party
Monday, June 3 at 2 to 4 PM
Join us as we celebrate the start of the Summer Reading Program with face painting, crafts, slime making, and snacks.

The MOOgician
Friday, June 7 at 3 to 4 PM
Magic, COWmedy, hoofin’ around, and banjo music. This is a high-energy show for the whole family.

Giving Tree Drum Circle
Friday, June 14 at 3 to 4 PM
Interactive drumming fun for the whole family.

Tarpon Springs Aquarium & Paige’s Planet Present “Spectacular Swamps”
Friday, June 21 at 3 to 4 PM
This scaly and creative program will bring participants face-to-face with a Florida swamp resident and get their creative juices flowing. They will take their favorite facts and participate in writing a catchy song to both retain and share their new knowledge with others.

Little Red Riding Hood
Friday, July 12 at 3 to 4 PM
Performance presented by Play ‘n’ Around Theatre.

End of Summer Ice Cream Party
Friday, July 19 at 2 to 4 PM
Join us for crafts, balloon sculpting and, of course, ice cream!
