Library Services Update

The Library is closed to the public until further notice as a precaution to help limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Please check back soon for updates and more information.

Common Questions:

What if my items are due while you are closed?
All due dates have been extended to May 1 or later. (See note below*) As long as we are closed, no materials will be due and no fines will accrue.

Can I drop off my materials in the book drop?
Yes. Returns will be checked in during this time period.

Can I drop off used book donations?
No. We cannot accept donations while closed. While we appreciate our community’s generosity, we must be cautious at this time.

What if some of my holds are ready for pick up?
Holds that are listed as ready for pick-up will be held until we re-open.

Will I be able to place holds on items while you are closed?
No. Patrons will be unable to place new holds on all physical items until we re-open. We encourage you to borrow and/or stream our e-resources (more details below).

I have a question about my account. Is there anyone that can help me?
Yes. Library staff will be available Monday thru Friday, 10am to 5pm by phone and email to assist you. However all automated notifications will be suspended through May 1.

*Please note that the date of April 1 is not set in stone. We will be monitoring the situation along with the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative, and we will take action to extend the dates if the closure lasts beyond May 1st.
