Reading with The Rays 2020

The Tampa Bay Rays are again partnering with Pinellas County Libraries for a fun summer reading program for kids!

The Reading with the Rays program is designed to encourage kids to read more before returning to school in the fall.

By reading books this summer and keeping track of their progress on a game card, students can circle the bases – first, second, third, and home – and collect prizes as they go. Make it all the way around to home base and your ultimate reward is two tickets to see the Rays in action at Tropicana Field!

Although this program is focused on students in grades 3 through 5, all students in grades Pre-K through 12 can participate.

How To Play:

  1. Download and print your game card to keep track of your reading. When the library re-opens, you will be able to pick up a game card at the library.
  2. Read and follow all the rules at http://www.pplc.us/readingrays16.shtml
  3. Email your completed game card to reading@raysbaseball.com to receive your Reading with the Rays reward.
